Dr Omer Batin Gozubuyuk
Dr Ömer is a Sports and Exercise Physician with a strong commitment to diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal pain with clarity and precision. He believes exercise therapy forms the basis of treatment for most MSK conditions, and values the opportunity to contribute to a coordinated team by working closely with skilled physiotherapists, osteopaths and other allied health professionals. Whether it’s supporting professional athletes or helping active individuals return to what they love, he prioritises collaborative, patient-centred care.
His focus area is on understanding how the body moves and using ultrasound to see what’s happening in real time. This helps him make accurate diagnoses, guide treatments precisely and explain findings directly to patients. He performs a wide range of injection treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), prolotherapy, tendon and muscle injections, nerve-related procedures and fluid aspirations. Nearly all of these are done with ultrasound guidance to improve accuracy and remove guesswork.
Alongside his clinical experience, Dr Ömer holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Bogazici University. He has completed a Sports Medicine Speciality Program at Istanbul University, where he is now serving as academic staff, lecturing medical students and contributing to Sports and Musculoskeletal research. He has presented at national and international congresses, including the World Congress of Sports Medicine (FIMS) in 2016, and maintains an active publication record.
Teaching, clinical research and continual learning are central to his practice. Dr Ömer is passionate about advancing MSK care through precise diagnosis, thoughtful intervention and strong collaboration with allied health professionals. His goal is always to provide patients with a clear understanding of their condition and a realistic, effective path toward better function and less pain.
Primarily, Dr Ömer aims to provide patients with clarity, confidence and a realistic path forward. He invites any connections - whether they’re clinicians or other healthcare professionals - looking for evidence-based and personalised care.
